On July 4th 1776 a group of rebels declared they would no longer follow the orders of a ruler from the other side of the world. They declared that their independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain and the United States of America began. It was a shaky start and a bold decision but today over 200 years later we live in the country they helped create. Today I want you to take time to remember the nation you live in, particularly if it is the United States of America.
